Neighbourhood gems
Some of my personal favourite spots to eat are Bar Vendetta, La Palma, Northern Belle & Pennies for drinks and afterwork snacks, & lastly, Terroni is always a crowd pleaser. With so much to do in the area, there are many gems to explore and become familiar with. If you are looking for a butcher, look no further than Cumbrae's. This incredible spot will have you coming back weekly for more of their prepared foods and local meats.
Getting around
Transit is easy in this area. Hop on the TTC street car which will take you right into the middle of the city in less than 15 minutes. While there is transit, walking and biking seems to be the preferred method of choice for many who just want to take it all in. For those who prefer to drive, you can take Strachan Avenue south down to the water and hop on the QEW from there!
